We conducted competitive research for both national and international companies to get a feel of where we could position Dea’s online presence when selecting Shopify themes. We found there was a massive opportunity to give them a high-lux, minimalist feel by presenting the themes to showcase their brand. Dea gravitated to the ‘Prestige’ theme, which allowed them to exhibit their photography and videos.
The Prestige Vogue theme was almost bang on the style of the site they were looking for. They needed some custom elements to fit the ethos, which is Dea. We customised the sizing variants for them to ensure it fits into their sizing psychology, allowing the customer to select their size rather than be presented with the smallest sizing as the first option. We tailored their pages into a big, bold gallery feel, so the images and story were centre stage.
